Commentary on Surah Yasin

Warning makes no difference to those determined to reject the truth.
Only those who follow the reminder and fear Allah in private will benefit from the warning.
Allah records all deeds and their consequences. Everything is preserved in a clear record.
Beginning of the story of the messengers sent to a city (traditionally identified as Antioch).
Two messengers were sent, then a third was added when they were rejected.
The disbelievers rejected the messengers, claiming humans cannot be divine messengers.
The messengers affirmed that Allah knows their truthfulness.
The messengers' duty is only to deliver the message clearly.
The disbelievers threatened the messengers with stoning and torture.
The messengers responded that evil omens come from the disbelievers' own actions.
A believing man (Habib an-Najjar) came running to support the messengers.
He urged his people to follow the messengers who seek no worldly reward.
He questioned why he should not worship his Creator to whom all return.
He recognized that false gods cannot save anyone from Allah's decree.
He acknowledged that worshipping other than Allah would be clear error.
He declared his faith before the people.
After being martyred, he was told to enter Paradise and wished his people knew.
He wished his people could know of Allah's forgiveness and honor bestowed upon him.
Allah did not need to send armies to destroy the disbelievers.
A single blast was enough to destroy them completely.
Allah expresses sorrow over humanity's tendency to reject and mock messengers.
Haven't they learned from previous nations that were destroyed?
All will be gathered before Allah for judgment.
The dead earth brought to life is a sign of Allah's power and resurrection.
Allah creates gardens and springs as provisions for humanity.
They should be grateful for food they did not create.
Glory to Allah who created all things in pairs.
The alternation of night and day is a sign of Allah's power.
The sun follows its ordained course, demonstrating Allah's precise planning.
The moon's phases are perfectly determined by Allah.
The sun and moon each follow their own orbit in perfect harmony.
Noah's Ark carrying their ancestors is a sign of Allah's mercy.
Allah created ships and vehicles for human transportation.
Allah could drown them if He willed, and none could save them.
But Allah shows mercy and grants them life for an appointed time.
They ignore warnings about consequences in this life and the next.
They turn away from every sign of their Lord.
The disbelievers mock charity, saying Allah could have fed the poor Himself.
They mockingly ask when the promised punishment will come.
They await only a single blast that will seize them suddenly.
They will have no time to make any arrangements or return home.
The Horn will blow and all will rise from their graves.
They will be shocked, asking who raised them, and will be told this is what was promised.
A single blast will bring all before Allah for judgment.
Perfect justice will be served; no soul will be wronged.
The people of Paradise will be in joyful occupation.
They and their spouses will recline on couches in shade.
They will have fruits and whatever they desire.
'Peace' - a greeting from the Merciful Lord.
The criminals will be separated from the believers.
Allah reminds them of His warning not to worship Satan, the clear enemy.
They were commanded to worship Allah alone, the straight path.
Satan had already led astray many of creation.
This is the Hellfire they were warned about.
They will burn in it for their denial.
Their mouths will be sealed and their limbs will testify.
If Allah willed, He could have blinded them completely.
If Allah willed, He could have paralyzed them in place.
Long life leads to weakness, showing human fragility.
The Prophet was not taught poetry; this is only clear Quran and message.
To warn the living and establish proof against disbelievers.
Allah created livestock for humanity's benefit.
Animals are tamed for riding and eating.
Animals provide many benefits and drinks.
Yet they take false gods hoping for help.
These false gods cannot help them at all.
Don't be grieved by their speech; Allah knows all they hide and reveal.
Man forgets his humble origin from a drop, then argues.
He asks who can revive decayed bones, forgetting his own creation.
The One who created him first can easily recreate him.
Allah created fire from green trees, showing His power over matter.
The Creator of heavens and earth can surely recreate humans.
Allah's command is simply 'Be' and it is.
Glory to Allah who controls all things, and to Him all return.
